Shorewest, REALTORS® Sales Director Honored as 2022 REALTOR® of the Year by the Greater Milwaukee Association of REALTORS®

On Wednesday, November 30th, Shorewest, REALTORS® (Shorewest) managing broker Tina Balaka was honored as the 2022 REALTOR® of the Year by the Greater Milwaukee Association of REALTORS® (GMAR). This award marks a REALTORS®’s significant contribution to the GMAR as well as the greater Milwaukee real estate industry as a whole. Community involvement, including volunteerism and work with charitable organizations is also considered when choosing the annual recipient.

“Tina’s more than 20 year career in the real estate business speaks for itself,” said Joe Horning, President of Shorewest. “It is clear how her passion for helping fellow REALTORS® learn and grow, and her dedication to client service made her a clear fit for this award.” 

Tina is a managing broker out of Shorewest’s Greenfield office. She has been with Shorewest since 2002 and has represented the company on various real estate boards and committees, including the Wisconsin Realtors Alliance, Wisconsin Realtors Foundation and is a National Association of REALTORS® Federal Political Coordinator.
